NOTE: I am playing on DDRMAX PS2.

I have never passed Healing Vision AM STD. I try it, and the first twenty seconds are a breeze. Ten seconds later I am drained and I can barley keep up. I can pass every other STD song (expect Orion 78.) so I don't think this one should be so impossible.

I don't think this should be seven feet. I mean, Rugged Ash is a breeze for me, and its seven feet.

Opinions and comments please!

Gameplay as in practice. your not going to get better if you don't practice. o intothe trainng mode and turn the speed down, practice it and get used to the steps. then as you feel comfortable increase the speed.

ok, i can relate to this one since I just started passing it on heavy. the first few times through this song (at least to me) were utterly painful, but as people have said its all about gameplay.

my advice, play something like masuri japan or exotic ethnic on light or standard 2x. then play hvam std on 1x and the arrows will "crawl" and you will be able to read them easier.

as always practice makes perfect

Gameplay as in, "post in the right forum", which would be the Gameplay forum.

Anyhow, as most questions on "I can't pass song X yet", the answer is most likely to keep playing, and it'll come. There are virtually no shortcuts in DDR. Just keep practicing and you'll be able to pass it soon. HVAM standard totally drained me about 3-4 months ago, now I can do HVAM heavy three times in a row and live to tell the story (although I'd never do that, 'cus I hate it when people pick the same song more than once in a set goog.gif)
Keep at it. Good things will happen.

what you should do is play the first song as that song with some one covering you on versus thats what i did but i also played oni mixes by my self for a while cause on the 5th song im already tired so i play the hard ones first and if you don't think you will pass you will cause you wasted like 75cents or whatever money on it and you would want to waste that eh?
