Yeah, kinda... but most of the time, I'm too involved in the song to care how long it is. And let us not forget extended mixes of bemani songs, some of those can be really really long. |

I either listen to Bemani songs.... or stuff by Type O Negative.... so it's either under 1:45, or over 7 minutes for me.... _________________

Heh, yeah... I have that problem unless I'm not paying any attention whatsoever or if I'm engrossed in something. A lot of the time I spend listening to music (either on CD or via Media Player) is spent switching songs after about 1:30-1:45... unless I happen to have an unhealthy obsession with said song, which then means that I'll be listennig to it for hours on end. _________________

I know exactly what you're talking about. Most of the songs I listen to are bemani, and when I turn on the radio everything just seems so looooong. |

I think you people just have short attention spans.
For me, I get pissed off when a song gets changed before it finishes.
I'm just weird like that. _________________

I have this problem sometime. When I am playing DDR, the songs seems like 3 minutes. When I listen to them, they seem like 30 seconds...It's not a big deal. |

Hmmmmmm honestly that depends
1)If I like the song
2)What mood I'm in.
I can listen to any DDR song...but I can't stand the extended remixes a la 5th Mix just due to the fact like it seems to be a huge loop over and over again. That also depends on how long your music span is at the time...if I like the song, I can listen to it over and over again no matter how long it is. If it's an ok song, I can probably listen to it a few times through, if it's a song that I'm like "eh-eh" about...then I probably wont even make half of it....but I'm one of those guys that if he finds out what he likes he can listen to it over and over again no matter what the length. I've listened to DJ battles over an hour long straight thru...it's a good experience. It feels like you just got done reading a book at times.. _________________

I think it's just you, If that happened to me I wouldn't be able to listen to Metallica!! Seeing as most of their songs are over 5 minutes _________________

after i play DDR for a while and i listen to a 3 minute song, i think "wow, this song is long". But then i come back to reality and notice that it's not a DDR song. |

If I like a song, then the length of it does not matter. That is why I like to listen to the full cut of So Deep and my 17 minute excerpt of Beetohoven's 9th sympony.
I do know what you mean though... _________________

Alot of songs just seem to go on and on and on for me when I'm not playing them (DDR-wise). And there's a full cut of So Deep? _________________

No, I look for the long versions of DDR and Bemani songs because they're so much better than the game versions. Break Down and My Sweet Darlin' long versions own. |
