p.s. Swtpinoy's B4U video rules
so anyone agree or think i dont know what im talking about |

...What are you talking about again? Videos? Eh? Videos make people unoriginal. Case in point, A-Team B2U, everybody in the free world trying to do a stupid matrix walk and ruining machines around the world. Hooray for videos. _________________

The Matrix Walk (where you grab the bar & walk on the machine around the screen) is the fastest way to get yourself ostracised from the DDR community & it's known to cause damage to DDR Machines.
Just think if a 300 pound (or even heavier) person did a Matrix Walk? No only it would be a great feat of strength for that person, it wouldn't look cool & their foot could most likely be through the screen as well as the display glass on top of it... _________________

well if you we're paying attention to tstodden post ..
you could mess up and plant your foot in the screen and be quarter of the way inside of the machine. _________________

Yeah.. but most the people I play with aren't 300 pounds. Most the people I've seen play DDR could probably pull it off and I think it would look cool. I think people ostracize the idea of Matrix walking simply because most people can't do it proficiently.. and when they see the fit people that actually can do it, they become jeleous.
(now let's get ready for all the people who will deny what I just said)

Yeah, everyone thinks matrix walking is cool at one time or another during their time playing DDR. Then, eventually, you realize just how retarded it is. "Look, I can put my dirty-ass shoes on a relatively nice looking screen, and risk injury, both to myself and to the somewhat expensive machine, just so people can say, 'OMG THAT LIEK THEMATRIX!!'"
I never hear of people matrix walking at home, on THEIR television, so why must they insist on doing it on the ARCADE'S property?
Oh, how about this. Yeah, the chances of doing a matrix walk and busting your foot through the arcade machine is fairly low. However, think about this for a second. Let's say, you're at a table with 10 plates of food on them. 9 of them are perfectly fine, but 1 of them is poisoned with something that will make you die a horrible, painful death. The food on the 10 plates looks good, but it's definitely not the absolute finest creation the world has ever seen. Now, you're given the choice to either pick a plate, or walk away. Now, would you risk dying over food that wasn't even the most excellent food that you've ever eaten? The odds are technically in your favor, but that doesn't mean that it's not stupid to do it.
Matrix walks. Yeah, look, we can damage an arcade machine. The move is old. However, my experience has taught me that a matrix walker just has to learn for him or herself. Eventually (hopefully), they learn how horrible the move is, and learn to try to teach the other matrix walkers otherwise.
And yeah, wow, this topic is old. |

Talking about old, even the Matrix movie itself is old - if you want to reinvent something as idiotic as the Matrix Walk, I suggest you get a friend and 100 look-alikes of your friend and then have them all jump on you, then you knock everyone off and finish the song with a AAA. _________________
