well, i made a thread about the solo mod and it got locked. o well it doesnt really matter. this is another solo thread but i meaning it if you like to play solo(by yourself) or with another player. me i like one player(by myself)

I usually play by myself because usually bad people want to play with me so they throw me off beat and they never want to do songs that I want to play.

well, usually, it doesn't matter to me. I can play with another player and I can play by myself just fine. doubles does that. when you play doubles, you get used to playing by yourself. when I play oni though, usually I'd prefer to play by myself because most people can't keep a beat. but if they're an ok player, I'll play with 'em. sometimes I don't like playing with other people because they have really crappy song choices.

That's what I do most of the time with n00bs, argh I really hate it when I don't get to choose what I want. N00bs pick songs like Butterfly somethin I can't stand and makes my ears bleed. I play with friends and people who know the freakin coin line.

I don't like playing with n00bs especially those who play on Beginner! Ugh! I can't see any FMV or the Banner. I will play with people I know who are preferably my friends cause we can decide what we can play. I sometimes don't like playing together with someone with me playing Doubles too!

I like playing by myself becasue I like picking the songs that I want to play. I have also played with people who either stomp very loudly, or who step very off beat, this in turn messes me up, and I get annoyed by it. I like playing with my friends though, its fun being competetive.

A few weeks back, it was my turn to play, and i put my money in the machine. someone comes up and says "can i play with you?" and i say "ok, but i choose everything."

So he takes the side of the machine i wanted (bastard) and picks the first song, without holding down the button. I go "WTF" and look at him. After the song, i pick one, hold down the button, and choose solo. He says "don't pick solo, it affects my side". I try and explain to him that it was MY turn on the machine, and i was LETTING him go on, but he gets all mad. So I finish the song, and as i choose the next song, he tries to reach on my side and turn solo off. Bastard.

Therefore, I like to play alone.

I agree with Scupo, its hard to find players to play with that dont hurt your PA. Alot of players, even if theyre PAers themselves, are used to attacking a song in a different way and the differences have a tendency to throw me off.
