This is the record I have on 4th mix JP. I did 52 songs all on maniac back to back, and quit not only because I just burned 1014 alleged calories (kcal is the euro equivalent of calories...strange since 'kilo' means 1000. I hate the arbitrary U.S. system! =/) but because I was getting bored of doing the same songs. Now, a pound of body weight is about 3500 calories...and I burtned almost a third of a pound? That's a LOT of mass for aerobic exercise to lose in one sitting. I think it took me not much more than an hour. It was 4th mix, so it was a while ago I did this. As you can see I averaged 19.515 cals per song. This makes me wonder about the accuracy of the diet mode system. Can anyone confirm the accuracy or lack thereof?

It's probably not accurate as I'd like it to be, because I lost 20 pounds in 2349 calories and 131 songs. E1.gif But I don't think it matters anyways, because as long as you're sweating and playing for more than a half hour at a time, you're going to lose weight. but don't eat right after you play.. Because that just cancels out the whole thing E4.gif

The 'calories' when referring to diet/exercise in North America is actually one thousand actual energy calories. Don't know if that makes any difference to you, but you might like to know.

I'm pretty sure its not very accurate at all. I remember it said I'd burned like 40 calories( or kcal if you prefer) playing Kick the can maniac. Then later on I played Max300 heavy on max1(jp ver) and it said i burned 33 calories playing that. So I'm pretty sure the 4th mix ratings are screwed up.

It could be accurate, depending on your weighht, ability to move, how hard it is to do so, or maybe off a little or a lot, never know...
