OK I ordered one of those Red Octane Metal Pads off of www.redoctane.com and it arrived like a week after and i started playing, after a week of stomping away the left and right arrows stopped working, it seemed the circutry was messed up so i fixed it, then i started playing again and the start button messed up, and once again i fixed it, and now today the left arrow completely shattered while i was playing and i almost did a split, and when a guy does a split u no it hurts like hell, and on top of that the right, up, down, start, and select buttons all stopped working completely, talk about a $250 dollar waste! In my opinion never buy a red octane ( i belive its now called third-party) metal pad, it stinks worse then a person not showering in a year!
So anyway, can you tell me different websites that have metal pads and what their price is for them, and if they are good or not, and your own expieriences with metal pads if you want to

Thanks! E1.gif

(People might be sending you to DDR@Home for this, but before they do...)

I believe that ANY metal pads save for custom built ones are all unreliable pieces of junk. The wiring is usually so poor that it can be broken within a day, and become completely useless within a week. You'd be much better off with the soft pad loged onto wood/office mat combination. They're more accurate, to boot.

First: DDR Console Games.

Second: I have a friend who bought 2 metal pads off of ebay, got a GREAT deal ($10 for both, plus S&H disgust.gif ), and I have NEVER heard a complaint out of him. So, there are some good ones, you just gotta find them. Hey, try ebay, maybe you'll get some luck like his! E7.gif
