Ok, I'm too confused now.
Last summer, I remember playing on a Solo2000 machine at a local Wal-Mart. The coin chute got ripped out so we had the ability to put it on free play and have fun E1.gif.
A friend of mine who also played it said that it was a Solo BASS mix.
I can swear it was a Solo2000. Female annoucer, the banner, I *though* the logo on-screen said Solo2000 as well.
But I was poking around channel beat and saw this image. (Linked as not to whore out Channel Beat.)

It may be just because we didn't have a second machine but...I never saw any 'Multi-player' option or that screen. EVER.

Looking at the songlist. Solo2000 has all of the actual songs. But Solo BASS is the only mix with the 3 song nonstops.
I could SWEAR Solo2000 had the nonstops, and that is the machine we were playing on.

Any help?

(The machine has been long since removed.)

sounds like a Solo 2000 to me

Solo 2000 DOES have the 3-song Nonstops too. They weren't exclusive to Solo Bass Mix. They show up in the regular song list and everything.

I've never seen a Solo Bass Mix, so that screenshot doesn't look familiar at all, so I'm assuming that is indeed a screenshot of Solo Bass Mix. That "Multi Player" thing is for linking up multiple cabinets... although apparently that can be done with Solo 2000. I've never seen more than one machine at once so I don't know what the screen looks like for that, but the interface in that picture definitely looks different from 2000's

Yah, I know how linking is done, I just never was able to use it (obviously).
It had more songs than were listed on Solo BASS (on this site).
It had all the songs plus the 3 song nonstops listed on the Solo2000 songlist.

Solo2000?
(I know it was a Solo2000...silly Marc is just making me paranoid.)

Solo 2000 indeed has the 3 song nonstops and the female announcer. I know this since Solo 2000 is still one of my top 3 favorite machines, but as for that pic you linked to...uh....well, I have never seen that on any arcade machine anywhere ever.
