As we all know, summer is coming soon, and in only four years, Konami has squeezed out 8 mixes of DDR, so number 9 can't be far from now, and I think we should tell Konami what we really want for DDR Extreme 2.
I really want more American songs, but new ones, something punk like Good Charlotte or Simple Plan. |

I think that US pop bands should stay out of DDR. Especially punk ones becuase you can't really dance to them.
Now, if they made Headbang Revolution, then yes, I agree songs like that should be put on it. _________________

NOTE: GC and Simple Plan ARE NOT PUNK!!!
Lemme name some punk bands: NOFX, Operation Ivy, Millencolin, Dead Kennedys, Dropkick Murphys, Sex Pistols, the Clash
those are punk. You can't really DDR to punk. They tried it with Little B*itch, didn't really work out. _________________

You have to understand that there is no hope in hell of a new US available arcade version. | Oops.

I wish they'd put some heavier rock on it... like Fire was *kinda* rockish... but I want some metal. Some metal songs are so ball-blazingingly fast that the steps would HAVE to envy LOM. |

Fire is da shiznit! Anyways, punk bands should stay away from DDR. That's a no-no. They should, however, start getting songs that people will like ALOT. These so-called "overplayed" songs are only overplayed because they are often the only good songs in the game. I hate to be so negative about the games, and I don't even really believe what I'm saying, but some people actually see it that way. _________________

Alas, I think that a 9th Mix IS far from now, if at all. |
well, if it is gonna come out.. wouldnt you think it would soon? i mean, its not like there gonna give it up and then suddenly decide to make another... right? _________________

Crash! - Don't insult punk.
Little B*tch - This is Ska
Daikenkai - This is metal.
Across The Nightmare - This follows a punk beat on the drums, so I guess it's punk.
Jet World - This is more country rock. |

hahahaha.....its stuff like this that makes me so DAMN happy DDR doesn't have those songs. i'm fine with the songs they licensed from Dancemania (excluding Tubthumping), not music that will be in future "Now: Thats What I Call Music" series or most mainstream americian music.

I can just imagine it now...A new ONI course...Now Thats what I Call Music Road...It would have:
A Good Charlette Song
Another Punk song...
Oops I did it again (Long version) from 5th mix
Some N-Sync song (AHHHHHHH)
About 5 more songs of crap.
Ya know, there would only be one way to keep me playing DDR if they made that...Long Version Butterfly and Dynamite Rave...Those songs rule

No they don't, I like all of them and they are hard in it's own way. You probably hate them cause you can't pass any of them hahah. Yeah, good luck if you think Konami will come with a 9th. 8th is the last...and will be the last unless Konami miracolously brings it back for some weird reason. |
