Can dance pad covers eaisly be removed from a dance pad, or are they supposed to stay on the dance pad forever? Are the slippery to play on with socks? Can they be used with dx pads? Which cover do you guys recommend?

The dance pad covers eliminate the slipping and bunching up of the pad which occurs especially while playing on carpet.
The dance pad covers are also designed to extend the life of your dance pad by protecting its surface.

If you really want to use the dance pad cover correctly, you need to tape the dance pad and dance pad cover together.

If you have a soft dance pad and play on carpet, then you might want to buy a wood plate. E15.gif

Dance pad cover is especially good when you do modification.
