Ignition Pads?

When someone says they have an Ignition Pad is there a generic brand they are refering to? If not what makes a pad a soft pad? Whats the best ignition pad? Thanks.

An Ignition pad refers to a pad that has a zipper around it through which you put in a foam insert to give it a dense center.

Red Octane was the first company to make one available, but you can now get them from nearly everyone.

Other "soft pads" are flat and have barely any material inside.
