I swear that the top bar in the bonus is labed Voltage but is actaully the stream rating. The second is the voltage labed stream.

I have doubled checked this so I am almost positive I am correct. A good example would be Drop Out w/ it's almost maxed votage and comparatively low stream. The bars on the bonus graph are swiched.

Why is this the case?

(End nerdy quibbile.)

I don't know. I was thinking about making a thread about it, but I just forgot. It has been that way since DDRMAX2 at least, and maybe since DDRMAX (I don't know, because I haven't played MAX much).

- Voltage is based on peak density of steps, and your voltage "bonus" is your percentage of the full combo.
- Stream is based on overally density of steps, and your stream "bonus" is your percentage of full perfects.

However, the labels are reversed. The song I checked it with was... .59, I believe. Low stream, high voltage, but then I got to the bonus screen and they were reversed.

Why didn't anyone at Konami ever catch this in the 2-3 mixes that have had this problem?

That was only one song, and some non-English speaking programmer got it confused with Burning Heat.

This isn't a huge deal, but I am just suprized that no one at Konami ever noticed this. If we can, they shoud as well.

At least I was right in their being wrong.

actually, Don was making a reference to two songs. Boy On Boy is one of Konami's worst errors, the real title of the song is "Boy Oh Boy Mix". and yeah, the whole burning the floor a nine thing. he.
