...he thinks it's a Twister wannabe. What should I tell him?
Keep in mind that I can't just show him it since I see him like 4 times a year. _________________

DDR is rather difficult to explain to someone who's never seen it. I don't really know how he thinks it's like Twister.... but that's not the point.
You should basicly say that it's an arcade game where you have arrows that scroll toward the top of the screen, and when they get to a certain point, you have to hit the corresponding arrow with your feet.
That's the general gist of it. _________________

All it is really is just stepping on arrows that match the arrow's on top of the screen.
But, how come you only get to see him 4 times a year? _________________

It's a simple game that requires your feet to step on arrows, just like dancing to the beat and rhythm as if you were dancing in a club. Don't know that helps? But I tried. |

Tell him it is like the game of Simon you just use your feet and follow the arrows on the screen. _________________

I invited my mother over to my apartment once to try DDR. She sees DDR as an opportunity to lose weight. That may be true but she'd only use it for that, not for fun. I think DDR is more for fun than anything else. |
