Well, it wasnt me, it was my friend... she was playing DDR with 2 different shoes on, and when she realized she had a crowd, she worried about the different shoes and failed.

ok...you all know that long up, down combo freeze at the begining of long train runin (hevey) well i was at tahoe at the arcade inside a casino. i had this huge croud behind me...well when the huge up down freeze i tryed to do a hand stand and fell forward and hat my back SOOO hard on the pad...i dident even finish the song i was too busy howling in pain

never again did i go to that casino.... i was branded for life.....

A kid got close to me, even after quietly telling him, "No!" and "F*** off!" while I was playing Brilliant 2U Maniac on Player's Worst. I ended up failing because of him, but I told his father his child did it, and I got 4 extra tokens and an extra game. w00t.

Erm... I was playing B4U maniac and failing because of a korean heckler, so suddenly I span around (mid-song) and screamed "QUIET DOWN, KOREAN WANG!!!" just to realize the manager of the theater was watching me play too

Luckily, I only got a warning, and I managed to pull a "B" on B4U with the sudden burst of "boos"

I was on the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ (rockin' DDR area), and someone challenged me to some FS on a 5th machine. I didn't want to walk all the way back to the beach house to get shoes, so I just played in my sandals.

Big Mistake.

These were nice leather sandals, metal clasps and everything, but they were like 6 years old, and pretty worn. I pulled off my usual stuffs on the first two songs in front of a rather large crowd, and everything was going great. Then it all came crashing down.

Someone from the crowd shouted out "Do something hard!" These people weren't DDR players, and most of them had probably never seen the game before. Thus, I figure Drop Out on maniac would be suitable. It's fast, and it looks hard(er than it actually is

).

We're going strong... until I drop my right foot back onto the RIGHT arrow. At this point, the strap on my sandal at the heel snaps, and my foot slides right outta the sandal as I fall flat on my face...

No, it doesn't end there.

My leg, having diligently followed my foot out of the sandal, slid right between my partner's legs and promptly tripped him.

Thus, in a matter of a split second, I fell on my face to the left, and my chum fell forward into the machine. He knocked all the tokens out of line and bloodied his nose quite nicely. The sandal stayed put on my RIGHT arrow, and I think it was mocking me.

Oh, we failed the song.

Back when the 5th Mix in my arcade was next to this big net wall thing (keeping things seperate for some type of kiddie slide ball pit deal) I got into the habit of playing on the right side and using that net that was practically like a wall on the right for balance when I got my feet mixed up.

Well one day I'm playing with this girl I know, and she likes to pick Alice on 5th Mix (*HACK!* I'm a Charmy fan myself) so she takes right side and I take left.

Our second song was Burnin' the Floor , which at the time was still a major challenge for me on Maniac. Some confusing part came up, and my feet got all backwards. Without thinking, I reached out for the net.

...and I glomped my friend Ashley right on her...y'know. Yeah, the left one.

She screeched and was like "What the FUCK are you doing?!" and slugged me hard enough to flip me over the bar.

...we failed the song.

I was playing max at my house and was playing Share My Love on heavy and when the big combo of up/down and right/left came my pants were ssoo loose they fell right off. Luckly nowone was watching me ...

I was doing the continuous jumps on Sexy Planet (Momo Mix), and I sorta jumped too hard from DR to UL, launching myself off the machine and failing Trick.

At The arcade I go to, I was doing Moonlight Shadow Doubles Heavy and at the beginning of the song where u have to crossover the 2 pads, I tripped and fell off the pad and failed it. Luckily, I did it again and passed it.

One time at a 4th mix plus at Sea World there was this guy who was realy good (I was only on basic) I wanted to play for fun, and the stupid guy just LOVES to make fun of other DDR players if their not as good as him. I picked end of the centry, he sticked me on Battle

Slip and almost fall down from the pad. My father was actually running towards me to catch me, then he stopped since I didn't fall. No many people were watching, but I heard some "oh!"s though...Thankfully I didn't lose my combo.

Ok, I was playing on a MAX2 machine, playing MAX300 and I get to the end of the song with the left right freeze arrow, and I get a N.G. on the end of that and FAIL the song. There were all these half laugh type things (don't know how to describe it) from the crowd. So there is my story, and the reason I hate freeze arrows.

the very first time i played it, i didnt know much about ddr and i chose a fast paced song. BIG mistake but luckily i was at home and only my bro and his friends were laughing at me. tryin to follow all those arrows i looked like such a loser

I was only a novice back when this happened. I was doing BB$(KOG G3 Mix) on Trick for the first time, and I was doing the part in the end where you have to spin your body several times. I had never done any step pattern like that before so I got dizzy, and not only that but I got a D grade from missing so many parts. I tried to find my balance by grabbing one of the bars, but I missed and I fell backward between the two bars and landed on my a$$.....and it hurt.
