Anyone know what are the requirements to unlock the songs only? I just want to have a good workout with all the songs unlock when the game comes out hopefully.

Usually with home releases there is some type of special mode you need to be in to unlock songs. By beating missions you get points and unlock songs you can buy using the points.

DDRX had street master mode.
Supernovas had the thing with the planets.

Which is the reason I don't buy or play any of the CS DDR games anymore. Really Konami, how'd you f*ck up such a good thing?

Yeah it's suck that they never have an unlock code, or just start with everything unlocked

I was playing Dice Master Mode for an hour but didnt unlock any new songs. Is the requirement now just to play songs on Free Play a la Max 2?

weird. Just back from a friend from the Netherland who has the game.

The 1st envelope on the road for Yuni is directly a new song, For zero the 2nd one.
Also modifiers to the dice help. put the low dice numbers on the high ones and you have a bit more control how your characters walks. :-)

Did you play the challenges? Remember you only can play challenges of your level. (in the beginning only level 1's.

Bit weird though that you cannot look the map AFTER you threw the dice.. :-/
Also, you cannot chance options of the challenge like you were able to do in DDR-X.

It all just feels like a Wii port. :-/

lolol I played it today. The opening selection of songs actually isn't terrible. Good dancin' music, but the charts are pretty boring. And since the Bemani songs are nothing but revivals, how to unlock more songs is information I'd like as soon as possible. Haven't had time to truly experiment, but it's a weekend. ;D

Every CS release from Supernova and on have, despite what everyone seems to think, gradual unlocks just from playing a lot of songs. I dunno about Extreme 2, that might have just had the Dance Master Mode for unlocks. Either way, I can state with 100% certainty from personal experience that Supernova, SN2, and DDRX all were unlockable just from playing enough-- it's just a bit slower (but far less annoying) than going through the extra modes for unlocks. I'd be surprised if this mix were any different, but Konami has been known to do (many) stupid things.
