Sync problems

Hey everybody. Any help with this is VERY much appreciated.

I'm having major sync problems with DDR Universe and Universe 3. These same problems aren't happening on any of my PS2 DDR games. I read a review recently of Universe where the reviewer complained of the same issue. Does anyone know of a way to calibrate or if maybe a patch was released?

I was hoping someone with some experience with these games might give you some advice, but I'll take a shot at it.

It could be a few different things, but to start I would like to know if your syncing issue is a consistent thing. What I mean is, are the steps consistently late/early, or does it vary from song to song.

Most recent DDR games have an audio offset option. If you have to hit the steps too early to get PERFECTS, then you need to set the audio to be a little later. Obviously, if you're having to hit it late to get PERFECTS, then the audio needs to come a bit earlier.

You should check to see if the games you're asking about have this under their options menu.
