|
|
Just bought a used Cobalt Flux. Guy said he'd had it for about a year and a half.
Anyway to tell the difference between a v1 and v2 pad?
The control box only has the PS connectors, so I'm thinking that it's a v1, but wanted to make sure. |

V1 CF's have Start and Select buttons on the bottom left and bottom right corners, while V2 CF's have them on the control box. Other than that, they're basically the same. |

It requires a cable to convert between the new control box and the V1 pad. Also, the start and select buttons at the bottom only take a signal on the bottom portion of the panel. I haven't taken one of those panels apart to look at the difference, though.
I purchase a used V1 CF as well for $200 local pickup. It's still working well. My accuracy with it is about the same as at the arcade. _________________
