Can someone please explain why at the end of this song it is going 400 bpm with (according to stepmania editor) 64th notes. i also have a question as to if the step jump part at the end is faster, slower, or the same speed as belovin's step jump part at the end.

To the former question, all of the steps after the "freeze" are off-sync with the measures (even though they are on-sync with the beat). I believe this was an attempt to make the song more difficult to read on Rainbow, because it would have been a really easy matter to fix.

To the latter question, the steps are a bit faster than Be Lovin'.

There's a part in FaXX with 1/12 runs and a couple of stops during them about halfway through. One of the stops stays put (intentionally) an extra 1/12 beat to throw players who are still learning the song off (as they will be an entire step early if they just follow the pattern).

As a result of the 1/12 beat offset created by that, the rest of the normally half-beat stepchart appears to be copy/pasted with "Triple" turned on, and the arrows placed one 1/12 beat higher on the stepchart; and DDR "triples" are usually displayed as a series of "10/32, 21/32, 32/32" beats, rather than actual 1/12 or 1/24's.

So technically, they *should* be mapped at 1/32's; but instead have been charted as 1/64's for sake of (accuracy?). You can truncate the section to 1/24's if you want dead-on musical timing, though files are often charted for scoring accuracy instead. In fact, DDR PC had End Of The Century charted a whopping 8 beats off - and some nut went and charted "offbeat EotC" *just* for the sake of completeness. riiight.gif I mean, WTH?! laugh.gif
