hello everyone
I would liek to know what are some good ways to make a pad only for practicing withouth the cables nothing only the pad itself with something cheap. I cannot play alot at arcade and i cannot buy pads right now. and with the dimensions of arcade and ect. I dont want to play at foam pads or things like that because when I played with that and returned to arcade it felt weird.

If this is a bad topic sorry.
thanks

buy a Gamestop pad?

you're going to want the wired pads, the wireless pads suck.

I second this. I used one once at some health convention or something and haven't been the same since. The lag is insane, the delay between when I hit the arrow and when it registered was more than half a second, which is a bigger deal than it seems.

Just for clarification -- Are you saying you can't afford a pad that both feels like an arcade pad and functions like an arcade pad, so you'd rather have the feel of one than the performance? So you'd like to know how to make something cheap that feels like an arcade pad but doesn't actually work?

I've read about such things online. I don't understand exactly how they are used (maybe with a system that has options set so you can't fail out of a game, and it just says "miss" all the time), but that sort of sounds like what you're talking about. Is it?

Are you trying to make a pad that isn't functional, just so you can practice hitting the arrows and moving? That's what I'm getting from this.
