Right... so anyone who's used an ignition 3.0 (i dunno if 2.0 and the original had it) know that there's a piece inside that raises the arrow a bit (which helps a load).
i dunno if this happened to anyone else, but the padding for my up arrow has migrated downward!
now, at first (the first 2 months) the padding stayed in place beautifully. It jumped me from a beginner on standard onto heavy! (on the easier songs, like Xephyr and DoLL)
sorry if the pic's a little big ^.^;;
so if anyone knows how to fix this short of softpad massages and/or pad surgery involving a scalpel and duct tape, please share! _________________

There is no way to fix it. I had the issue on both ignitions that I had bought (more on the 2.0 than the 3.0). Try going with a BNS Fusion Here or you can save the control box off your ignition (just unscrew it and rip the contacts off the circuit board) and create a homemade pad like I did. (See how to make one Here or Here and see how mine came out on my post Here. Good luck!
Otherwise, you can just ignore the lift that moved and just place plywood underneath the arrow that doesn't have a lift. _________________
