Hi everyone I am new to these forums so I hope this questions is not in the wrong place or something. I checked out the stickies and such but for one thing there is so much info and I could not really find exactly what I wanted.

I am looking for a new pad or two to use. I think I am a decent player I have been playing for several years and have beat my fair share of 10 steppers using just some pads with foam inserts that I got on ebay. What I am wondering is where is a good place to buy and what is a good pad to buy that is similar to an arcade and obviously works well and things for some higher level play. Also I am wondering if it is even worth buying a pad or if they are mostly poor quality and support and I should just get to work building one? Thanks for your input!

Well, If you want to buy a pad that is as close to the arcade as possible and of decent quality, you should look into buying a Blueshark from MyMybox.
You'd probably have to wait, because I hear they are out of stock right now.

Another option is to get some Cobalt Fluxes, and buy the arcade mod along with your pads. (that's all available at their site.)

If you are the DIY kind of person, and are good with tools and wood etc, you should consider building your own homepad. That is probably the cheapest way to go in terms of price, but it's not the easiest task in the world.

You can use his Idea, or scroll down a bit where all the links are.

I hope this helps.
