Quick question:

Is there an easy way to get to the wire connectors between the pads? I am performing maintenance on a machine, and the left pad has suddenly stopped accepting input. I've dealt with this before by detaching the pads from each other, and reconnecting the wires between the pads. However, that's a pain.

So, as the first question asks, is there any easier way to get to these connectors? Can one of the metal panels on top be removed to get to them?

lol this might be a little late but you can take off the upper right metal panel to get to it a little easier you may also have to take off the upper left metal panel off on the 2 player side depending on where the connecter is at the time. you may also want to check the wire connecters coming from the machine also. make sure all of the pins and such are in the connecters. so a simple unplug and check and then plug back in. and if its a DDR cabinet check and make sure the actual boards inside the pad are working they will be under the panels i stated before.
