Blueshark. I won't bother elaborating, because there are about 8000 topics on the first page that have the information you need. If you look for about five minutes, you'll find out the pros and cons of each. |

Do you want a big, semi-clunky pad hugging your floor or do you want a thin, square-shaped surfboard hanging around in your crib?
Are you a fan of DIYing and appreciate receiving the necessary tools to do so from a company for free (as far as we know), or do you welcome online guides that teach you how to modify a pad for better use.
Do you want recessed arrows a la official arcade, or do you want iffy-looking-but-still just as responsive panels.
Blueshark, from what I have read, is big, clunky, allows you to open up and see what is inside with the tools they give you, and has recessed arrows which is a big plus in emulating the arcade feeling.
Cobalt Flux, from what I have read, is thin, needs modification for some... thing (I forgot what it was) and the panels aren't recessed, but are just as responsive as the Blue Shark
Both are durable, so there is no contest there. _________________

Someone should make a thread for comparing pads and for asking which pad one should get, that way we wouldn't have another one every day. It sucks that such a thread would cause a black hole the size of the universe to happen, if it wouldn't then we'd probably have one. _________________

it depends on your play style.
Bluesharks are big and more like arcade ( and probably offers more stability because of their size.)
Colbalts are smaller without recessed arrows. and 50$ cheaper
So it depends if you like arcade feel or just a smooth surface.
another thing
CF has a holiday sale right now, i think the price went down by like $20-30
??
Another important consideration should be customer service.
I hear mymybox has good fast service now while cobalt customers are feeling frustrated.
i don't have either pad so i don't know for sure. |

ive played on both, so i know the differences
if you want a good ARCADE style pad, go for the BS.
if you dont care what style pad, go for the CF unless you are willing to pay for the BS
they both work fine...but i prefer the BS because its more arcade like _________________

I recommend bs if you like to play with shoes and cf if you hate shoes
If you stomp hard bs if you dont cf
If you hit center of arrows cf if you hit sides of arrows bs
play with bar bs
10+ footers bs
they both have pros and cons Id like a cf with bs sensors(anyway to do that?) |
