How Often Do you Blow Out Soft Pads?

I had 2 that lasted just 6 months and the one I am currently using I've had for 3+ years and it seems to be in its last days.

i went through mine in about a year, my friend just blew though another 2 pads in about 2 months though.

it depends on what brand they are, soft/foam, and if you mod them or not.

My initial softpad lasted a year and a half. I modded it after it was already dead and that helped it stay kind of functional for the rest of its days, but wasn't enough to really save it.

My Ignition 2.0 pad is starting to get messed up after using it fairly much over the last three years. I'm in the process of learning how to fix it so it'll last longer (any pointers or links to proper threads?).
