In a tournament, what would happen if one player, or both, somehow by murphy's law managed to kill/lose a single/multiple arrows on the machine while playing? _________________

Yeah, I got only 4 hours of sleep last night.
What happens if by murphy's law sensors die to the point where gameplay is rendered extremely hard or impossible? _________________

There's been a point where I've ran the entire tournament on one pad. Obviously this takes a while. _________________

Answer: Go to another arcade or machine
Answer 2: Host a console tournament instead? _________________

Rebuttal: in a real tournament: #1 is not always possible, in some cases it would be more of an inconvinience to do so I reckon, #2: We are talking about arcade tournaments, and #3L this is all hypothetical. _________________
