I was wondering if anyone had the schematic for how the sensor data on the Blueshark is transfered to the console. I was thinking I could make my own wire that bypasses the control box and goes straight into the xbox/usb.
Has anyone ever attempted this kind of thing, and did the results prove to be favorable? I just don't think that a going from the pad>control box>ps2 jack>xbox/usb is going to go very smoothly. That and I've heard there might be delay using this kind of setup. |

I have never attempted such a thing, but I know that it would most likely not work. Maybe for USB, but not for XBOX, and most likely not USB either. The control box intercepts those signals. The pad lacks any electronics, the electronics are all housed in the control box. Wires running straight towards a plug would not be sending any readable signal to the device they are plugged into. |
