...adapter. It works alright, and I set the key mappings, but its off somewhat. Not really sure how to explain it, but is there any way I can fix this my messing with sync options/ anything I have to do before using the pad?

Open up the Stepmania.ini in your main directory and change the "GLOBALOFFSET" variable so that it syncs up.

I have the same problem, though I have yet to get around to dealing with it.

He needs to change the variable due to the input delay in his pad...
