I have purchased the Ninja metal pad(tx1501) off ebay. It has a 15 pin (5,5,5) ps1/ps2 control box. I wanted to play stepmania with it, so I bought the Bns 25pin printer port to psx adapter (with psxpad driver) and It didn't work with my metal pad, wouldn't even reconize it, but it reconizes my soft pad. I also tried it with my old usb adapter, but no luck. Only the softpad works.
I have been searching online and decided to get a 3in1 control box. I found this one at ddrgame.com. it looks exactly the same as my Psx/Ps2 control box. In the details it says it works on the iON pads they sell. I am just wondering if I can use this for my tx1501? would there be any compatability issues for using different control boxes?

The thing about that one is that I don't know how many pins it has. I remember review a long time ago about the tx1501 on these forums. Their pad had a 9pin serial port. If you know how many pins it has plz tell.
