Hello,
I got a ps2 with DDR Supernova last christmas. It came with the basic konami soft pad. It was the first time I was playing DDR. Great game ! I am actually playing 30-45 min every day mostly for the work out
But progressively in the past months, I managed to A all the expert/challenge songs (except the extra stage ones) and AA some of them. I really think I am still improving but I feel limited with my actual pad to AAA the expert songs. I often get 2-3 % great even on easy songs.
What pad would you suggest for my kind of play ? Bascially, I'll never be a hardcore player wishing to AAA every songs. But I really wish to constantly improve my game without getting fooled by my pad.
My dilemna is probably between ignition 3.0 soft pad and CF metal pad.
Thank you,
Alex. |

It depends on how serious you are about the investment. It sounds like you're pretty close to AAAing stuff and you'll probably be able to do the boss songs in no time. I'd go with the Cobalt Flux, personally. |

I don't know how much you weigh, but at 185lbs I can't play on the red octane pad. Whenever I play on it I feel like I am sinking into it and can't move around nearly half as fast as I can on my wood pad. I agree that you should go for the cflux. |
