I'm working on remastering a KNOPPIX Live CD, and thinking of implimenting USB support so It looks to the USB for Songs, but the application runs off the CD. I was just wondering if this would even be POSSIBLE considering the documentation specifically says they must be in the song folder.

This is a project for class, and It is due on thursday. Its not imperative that it gets done, but I thought about it, and figured it'd be a nice addition to a Live CD =P

Any help is appreciated!!

if you can, you need to change the stepmania.ini file in the Data folder. follow:

Load data/songs from multiple locations

Find the lines in stepmania.ini:
AdditionalFolders=
AdditionalSongFolders=

Add the path of the other location. You can use this to load off a CD or USB device
obviously, the address of the USB drives and any subfolders go in the AdditionalSongFolders=(addy here)
