Alright, So... everyones making those regular styled cabinets.... i think im gonna do something different. Im gonna design and make an FX Style Cabinet. The only difference is ( obviously the 42" Plasma, Unless you can find one for about $600.... lol ) and there isnt those crazy lights on the left and right ( equilizer thing ). Im planning on putting a computer and using... i dunno is there a Pump it up for PC? if not, ill use a ps2.. depends.

I have designed this. Im going to buy the front piece with the 4 circles directly from Andamiro ( or my local distributer ) and some other parts that i dont feel like making.... lol. Im gonna use MDF wood and 2x4's to make the rest of the cabinet and put this plastic stuff around the wood ( micca? i dunno my friends dad told me this info ) to make it have that feel of a cabinet and not just painting the wood. What do you guys think about the idea. I dont think im gonna be buying the TV any time soon.... the one i want is this Toshiba 34HFX85 34" TV. I made a quick design tonight of what it should look like.... i guess.. lol. If you guys have any ideas, i would greatly appreciate it!
Hopefully i make this and dont just say i will and then... not. Heres the image:

StepMania.

Just make your own theme. You'll have to make stepcharts for everything yourself, 'cause good PIU stepcharts are pretty much impossible to find.

I'll be making a few myself. I'll let you know how those come out if you're interested.

Well, I'll be making a theme for myself sometime soon, and you'd be welcome to use that. E1.gif

stepmania and PIU dont work for many reasons. heres just a few.
1. Holds. PIU on SM will use DDR holds, which makes it very odd.
2. Grading. PIU on SM uses DDR-esque grading.....no.
3. Different speed changes on different step charts. A lot of songs contain stops and speed changes on one difficulty, but not on another. Stepmania cant do that.
4. BG vids. Unless you plan on somehow getting the glorious BG vids each PIU song has, i dont care.

it'll take a lot of effort to make stepmania work with PIU. But fear not!! there are other programs available for PIU simulation, and you can download them at www.ph-online.net! isnt that great? they both are very simular to the PIU games and totally rock! the programs are called DirectMove and Kick it up.

another way is to look and see if someone has a cracked PIU PREX3 PC torrent. People cracked that game and added a bunch of songs to it so it was basically NX with the uber poopy PREX3 interface. Mexico is also infamous for having a lot of hacked PREX3 PC machines.

OR!

you could just make a exceed CS cab using nothing but a PS2 and exceed. sure, its a bit outdated, but exceed CS is one hell of a mix and im sure a new CS mix is coming soon.

1. I'm sure a basic mod could change that.
2. You can change how it grades.
3. Actually, my HVAM edit has it go up to 392bpm where it normally drops to 49, so no, different stops/speed changes on different difficulties is not a problem.
4. I'm personally not very h4x0r, but I have friends who can most definitely get you high-res BG vids for all the songs.

If you need PIU PC help, I CAN definitely help you, since I was involved in making the tools that allow you to modify Prex 3 PCs (the newest PIU PC, since PIU PC versions are no longer made). It'll be definitely feasible (and surprisingly not that hard) to make a decent PIU mix with a theme ready to rock and roll on your custom PIU cabinet.

PM me and I can give you the info, since it'll be easier that way.
