I tried to make sure the best I could that there wasn't already a thread about this so sorry if I missed it. Just wanted to get thoughts from people on these pads. Looks like some cool ideas in there. Lucky for me I have a friend that actually knows how to really fabricate stuff like the frame for this so I'm considering starting this project. Anyone have any advice? Things I should definitely know before I get started?

Things you should know:

1. This design isn't very strong.

2. Use matrix sensors; the ones they use are liable to suck.

3. Use lexan, but make sure there is more to support it in the center.

4. Because I have decided I hate this design with a passion, I will design you a superior one for free; it's not you, it's my superiority complex.
