Any female voice can technically have the same funny effect. It would've been better if there was some funny parody animation along with the lyrics.
And for the record, I was never much of a smile.dk fan, but I find Golden Sky to be a really good song, albeit on the repetitive side.
Anyway, I did the same manipulation a long time ago with a friend for kicks with Senorita (Speedy Mix) and it was 10 times funnier than any of this smile.dk manipulation. Any guy saying he'll be your dancing flower AND your dancing Senorita is just ridiculously funny.
Plus, the original voicing on the song seemed to be artificially increased in pitch, so it sounds a little more like it's genuinely a male performance...which leads me to think it might have been guys that originally sang it. =/
