so on DDRgame.com, i found this pad called the "aftershock." it actually uses metal contacts and looks strikingly simular to the cobalt flux.

Looks like a CF with crappy decals to me mixed with BuynShop's DX's "3 in one" USB things. =\ (No, I don't know exactly what they're called. xD)
I wouldn't even try anything from DDRGame - their pads always suck. =\ |

They took a Cobalt Flux and painted it ugly.
Oh yeah, and they're too cheap to hire a good Chinese-Engrish translator.
The only reason you'd possibly want to buy one would be if they're all like the old CF's, not the new ones.
But something's telling me that's not too likely. _________________

corner buttons seem bigger, arrows seem thinner. maybe a very sad attempt at making a bootleg cf. |

DO NOT BUY THIS MEATL PAD !
My friend was so excited to find this metal pad because it is exactly the same look of cobaltflux metal pad.
my friend ordered online and came in 2 days! Delivered from California to California.
we opened the box, it was the same package style as official cobaltflux pad. WOW good packing! no damage on the box ! no damage on the metal pad.
We opened the package and pluged into ps2 system!
my friend start playing the metal pad. it seems working fine on the first song and sencond song!
after 15 min playing! button got little bit sticky. after 30 min play, too many miss fire~~~. Suddenly, button is not working! we are so disappointed!
We contacted the DDRGAME to get replacement!
It was nice at the first! when my friend asked them for replacement, they said, we aboused this metal pad. WHAT?
30 min playing is too much?
anyway, ddrgame finally offer to send replacement!
We are still waiting for replacement! it only has been 5 days.
Hope to hear from ddrgame soon. |

DO YOU THINK IT HAS SHEET METAL SENSORS?
Also, don't buy from DDR Game, eBay, or any kind of pad dealer like DDR Game. _________________
