Yeah, well this was probably really stupid of me to do, but my PC runs on Windows XP so I went to the Add and Remove Programs file, and I deleted something called an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440-SE. So now that that is gone, I haven't been able to play StepMania in a while.

Yeah, it was a program, so is it possible for it to be sent or something?

This is kind of belonging in Random Chat, but on the rarest chance if any other SM player has done this then what did you do?

=\

That's what comes up when I download from the "Primary Download Site" when I either save or run it. Ideas? =\

If deleting the video drivers then restarting your computer doesnt work, then I have no other suggestions for you. (btw, this fixes about 80% of my probs with XP sucking)

Yeah, I don't know what else to suggest here either. Either your graphics card isn't one of the many cards supported by that driver (check the "supported hardware" link available on the left side of the link I originall supplied) or the original driver wasn't uninstalled correctly.

Nah, not for a long time, unless I can get someone here to post a working solution or I reboot and download all of my 4000 songs over again. =\

Two things to try:

1.) Do you have a CD for the card? That should have the appropriate drivers on it.

2.)You could go under the device manager and click the properties of the video card and go under drivers. Then you just hot "Update Driver"

1) =\ I'm not sure at all. I got this laptop for Christmas and it might have had the card installed/built in/I don't know. =P

2) Where is device manager? =\

There are multiple ways to access Device Manager. The quickest way is to select "Run..." from your Start Menu, and type "devmgmt.msc".

From there, expand the item "Display Adapters", and then right-click your video card, and select Properties.

In the new window that pops up, select the "Driver" tab.
