Lot's of us know so many things about DDR. Why don't we talk about it?
That would be a great game if we all cooperate.

* You just have to write something about DDR (Licensed songs, AC and CS versions, songs from DM or BMIIDX, Konami Artists, your fav versions, DDR Bgs, DDR videos, DDR banners, When did you start to play DDR?... Whatever you want)

E7.gif IMPORTANT: If the info that you wrote is wrong, you can correct it later (Replying with a new post or editting an existing post). The other users can write about it, too. If you want to give us a more specfic info, you can post images or write links.

Example (I'll start):
The Nonstop ONI mode was introducted in DDRMAX2 (7th Mix).

Speed mods were not introduced until DDR Max (6th Mix).

On Extreme (Arcade), if you perform a certain glitch at the Oni course selection screen, you can access Oni steps for some songs that were not meant to be accessed. (Last Message's steps are probably the most well known in this; it has one part that is just an orgy of left arrows.)

Can you tell me how to preform these glitches?

And uhh, EXTREME AC had some hidden features that you can't get to without uber hax.

5th Mix was the first (and last) Mix to have Long Version songs. They took up the space of two songs and could only be played as your last song, however.

Wow, I want those..anyway.

8 characters originally planned for Ultramix 1 were ditched in exchange for the new mo-cap animations and a more slick look of Afro and Lady. However, some of the 8 characters make cameo appearences in Ultramix 3's Quest Mode. Also to note, Nurse Zukin (one of those 8) is now a selectable outfit for Zukin in Ultramix 4.

INJECTION OF LOVE, is one of my fav. songs from Akira Yamaoka.
You can play with 3 different versions:

1. INJECTION OF LOVE (HINA MIX), it's totally instrumental. Appeared in DDR EXTREME 2 US.

2. INJECTION OF LOVE (for beatmania IIDX RED), the lyrics are in japanese with some word in english.

3. INJECTION OF LOVE( e) , the e means english (beacuse the lyrics are totally in english). Appeared in DDR STR!KE.

4th Mix Plus was the first game to have Smaniac/Oni/Challenge difficulty. Although the new steps were the new Maniac steps and the old Maniac steps were Maniac-S and Maniac-D (like in Festival).

Hero has 3 remixes in DDR, the most for a licensed song.

MAX 300 was the first DDR song to be rated a level 10 and have a game BPM of 300.

Captain Jack and E-rotic are the most licensed artists in DDR, even more than Smile Dk.

You can get some secret characters for your 3rd Mix CS when you plug your memory card in a 4th+ AC

are you talking about the song called as "Memories - Paula Terry"

EXTREME introduce a couple of new "unplayable" mods:

.25x, .5x, Fuwa Fuwa also known as Wave, and Brake(as opposed to Boost)

DDR EXTREME 2 introduced the DANCE MASTER MODE. If you want to unlock songs the only way of do that is clearing all the missions of the DMM. All the mission are organized in areas.

DDR STR!KE (JP) and Dancing Stage MAX (EU) includes this mode, too.

In DDR SuperNOVA the name of this mode was changed into STELLAR MASTER MODE and the areas are organized in zones that look like planets, not in areas.
