I really don't think it would work that well. It would probably lack in sensitivity, and wouldn't last very long. Softpads were built for bare feet/socks...not shoes. |

Just do a preservatory softpad mod if you like the feel and sensitivity and all that.
Meaning give it a solid base, attach it in a manner that keeps it flat and ready to respond, and make sure not of the arrows ghost-step. _________________

I'm sure you can find some pictures and stuff if you look.
Although I wouldn't know where to direct you. _________________

Don't get a Red Octane pad anyway they suck.
Anyway go here. http://www.ddrfreak.com/library/contributor-article.php?postID=7890244 and do that but instead of the 36 x 33 piece of wood, make sure it's larger so the bar will fit. You could easily make the bar out of PVC pipe. There's a tutorial somewhere on the Cobalt Flux imaging forums written by DirtyNeedles. |

No problem. I look forward to the pictures whenever you can take them; I want to see how this turned out. Did you make the PVC pipe bar? |

Hmm? What do you mean by "make it stay in the platform"? If you followed the guideline correctly, the pad's edges are taped to the wood, and then the clear vinyl goes over the pad and is stapled to the bottom of the wood to secure it. I must be thinking of something else then... |
