Ok, so I've had my Ignition pad for almost a year and a half, and a few months ago when I started actually taking it places to play I started to notice my scores and timing failing, namely on the up arrow. Well, I opened it up and looked inside, and there's a tear along the bottom edge of the Up arrow that's roughly 4 inches in length (OUCH!). I also noticed that the layer underneath the light grey material is folded, and if it was a problem aswell. Here are some semi-decent shots of the underside of my mat.

There's alos a small tear starting above the down arrow, but it's not affect the performence of the pad yet. I was wondering if there was any way to fix my pad, or if it's hopeless. Any help kindly appreciated!

Well for mine. My down arrow started acting up. Giving me just random misses and fails, and I wasn't able to save it in time. But for your down arrow. Since it is just starting you should probobly just put electrical tape on it, because that should hopefully stop the tearing. B ut for my pad on the inside there a long rip it goes in a semi-sircle. So what my uncle did, since he got a better pad(SM machine, from an arcade) Put electrical tape on it before I got it. It stoped the ripping. So all that I can reccomend is that you should tape it up and hope that, that stops the ripping. Hopefully it works out. E13.gif

If it's cloth, find someone who's good at sewing and have them sew it.
That's what I do whenever I rip my clothes.
