I'm going to Cosplay as Devil Zukin for a convention this summer I have the outfit the wings and head peice thing...
But I was wanting some tips for shoes and other accessories I might add to it..
Also I'm wanting my boyfriend to cosplay with me and don't know which one he should do.
Any tips?
::Also:: I need to carry around money and camera and all those con necessities. What type of purse/bag should I bring/get?

Your boyfriend needs to be Akira, because Akira is cool.
Or if you wanted to make it funny you could make him Yuni. _________________

yeah, make him your doggy and dress him up as a girl. I always laugh when i see girls who have there boyfriends chained and whipped, then i get sad because i know i'd do the same thing if i had a girlfriend. _________________

Konsento goes well with Devil-Zukin.
As for shoes, Devil-Zukin wears thick-heeled boots with straps that go up to her thighs at most. Here's a pretty decent example of what they should look like.
Here's a link to help you out regarding Konsento's design(bottom of the page).
Best of luck to you. _________________

I cosplayed Yuni for a con four years ago, and my friend cosplayed Akira for Halloween that same year. It's more fun when you drag your friends to do it, too. |

Yes I have now decided I will definately Make him do it XD
but he'd never cosplay as a girl. Though if he would I'd deffinately do it XP.
Hmm... Konsento looks pretty hard to pull off, but I'll see if he's interested.
And thanks for the advice on the shoes.
What should I do for a purse/bag though? I mean I'll definately have my camera and money with me. |

I went to the Anime USA con about a week ago and I saw one girl dressed as the SuperNove Emi, one as Yuni, and another as Alice. I got pics with Emi and Yuni, Alice seemed busy ^.^ I'm glad people are still cosplaying as DDR characters. I'm thinking about doing Super Nova Rage soon. |

I've never seen it done and neither have my friends, but I'm glad I'm not the only one |

Are you doing at 4th Mix Devil Zukin? If so... make your boyfriend Rage. And make sure to put up pictures of you two together. :D *waves Zukin/Rage flag*
Then again... if you want the REAL couples or pairs or whatever, he'd have to be Konsento, as said by lots of people... but Rage would be much easier than Kosento. And like... not SuperNova Rage. Kawaii spiky-haired Rage. :D :D Although I don't think many people really expect him to spike his hair like that...
3rd Mix Zukin is prolly much easier than 4th... just... not as awesome, in my opinion. : /
... and for the heck of saying it... I cosplayed at a convention at Alice one year. No one recognized me until I told 'em. Even then, maybe like one person knew who I was. D: _________________

Nah, I'm not wanting "real" couples.
I'm just wanting him to cosplay as a character and trying to make him choose one ><; lol.
And hopefully they'll recognize me when I play ddr with her on the screen XP |

Can't really help out there, but since we're definitely on the topic of that, I was thinking as cosplaying as Rage, from 4th/5th mix. I just need the hairstyle and clothing for it. Can anyone tell me where to get them? _________________

for rage, just go somewhere, get a pair of baggy camo pants, an orange hunting vest, a pair of black/gray skakeboard shoes, and a black tshirt. You should be able to get all that just about anywhere.
Now, grow a goatie and stpike your hair up really high. And you got a perfectly good rage. _________________

Whatever you do, just don't make a fool of yourself by using a large piece of cut-out construction paper as your "hair".
That photo still gives me nightmares. _________________

lol got the goatie all locked up, its the spikey hair's the problem. But what about the red version of him instead? Sounds alright, rite?
