I've been looking around for a new metal pad recently and I fell upon this site, www.ddrgame.com and I was just wondering if it was worth anything. I was leaning towards a Nexen but it seemed a little much for my parents to pay for for Christmas, especially when I have three siblings. The one mat ddrgame.com offersthat I'm interested in specifically is the Tournament pad, found here:

http://ddrgame.com/dadareddtome.html

Has anyone had any experience with this pad, or the site in general?

A TX-1000 isn't that great of a pad. If you can't get a CF, a Blueshark, or a Nexen, I wouldn't get one at all.

Triple posting FTL. frown.gif

No, I don't think will be a great pad for you (or ANYone at that).
The 'metal' is really cheap and the buttons mush in and its really not too comfortable.

Try to mooch them for enough for a Nexen, it will be worth it E1.gif

Ok, thanks for the help. And I didn't mean to triple post, it just sorta ended up that way and I couldn't think of a way to delete them so I hoped a mod would. Thanks again, I think I'll just offer to pay the shipping plus a little more of the Nexen. Thanks!

Yeah, don't worry that's happens to me alot. E10.gif
And you'll be glad that you payed a little more to get the Nexen. It'll last you alot longer and you'll be able to pass harder songs on it with improved scores.

It's nice to see a change of "get AB or CF" to "BS or Nex"

What are you talking about? E10.gif The "Should I get a Nexen or a Blueshark?" threads are always around now. I haven't seen an "Afterburner vs. Cobalt Flux" thread in a long time.
