|
|
For Xmas presents, my cousins have requested DDR pads... I am a complete noob but from what I have gathered, BNS DX Extreme seems to be a good bet for mid-priced hard pads. Am I right in saying that?
Also I am looking at buying 6 pads and 3 PS2 systems... do you happen to know any place that might be able to cut me a deal?
Thanks!! |

Thanks!! | You are correct!
For the PS2's, you can get 'em used for about $80 these days.
And for the pads, if you want 6 BY CHRISTMAS, stick with BNS or Nexen, but if it can wait 'til mid/late January, I'd be happy to build 6 DT600's for you.
See my thread, Dancing Tofu Gaming Co.
For the 6 of them, I'd DEFINATELY cut you a deal.
I'm thinking materials + S&H + $60 construction fee ($10/pad instead of $25 regular).
So you'd be saving about $90 total.
But I probably won't be able to have them built and shipped by Christmas, unfortunately. _________________

Hey thanks for the tip! But unfortunately I do need them by Christmas...
I have not heard of the Nexen, is there a certain model I should be looking at? Between the Nexen and the BNS DX Extreme, which one would you recommend?
Any online store you would recommend me shop at? Thank you for all your help! |

$200 is as low as you can get for something that doesn't suck. Sorry, that's just how it is (and I'm not saying that everything above $200 doesn't suck, so be warned) _________________

It's true. If you're getting them for primarily Light/Standard play, get the BNS pads. If you're looking at Heavy play, you'll want the Nexens. If you you think they'll be played on 11's and 12's, go with a BlueShark. _________________
