I got a question. I can not seem to play any of the hard songs anymore. I can do them with ease, but my pads move and give me errors. One time my pad moved and I did not! I have one pad with foam[the one that moves and lets me stay there], and a pad that was bundled with SuperNova. I have 70 bucks right now. What would be the best pad for my budget? I could probably get a few extra bucks outta my mom for this, but could you guys help me decide? I saw metal pads for 60 bucks on DDRGame, but could I even trust them? Cobalt Flux is very expensive, and the Afterburner has heavy shipping costs. So, what do I do? If anyone can help me, it's VERY much appreciated:). Thanks to whoever helps me, even if it isn't the best of it. _________________

I tried making a homepad and via RipTides design and it was a miserable experience. I ran into every problem along the way and it still doesnt even work properly. The contacts are terrible and it looks messy. Its not worth it.
But then again, i know a few people on this forum who have tried making homepads and they work better than anything you can buy out there.
I still suggest not building one. |

yeah, i tried building a budget pad and i got something decent that worked...for about a week. I just don't have the tools/connections/skills you people have for making a pad.
if you suck at building things or dont have the time/motivation, get a BNS DX sparkle or fusion if you arent willing to put the money into a cobalt flux, blueshark, or nexan. You also caught my at a good time, because im trying to get rid of my BNS DX sparkle. asking for $50 shipped, which is about $35 cheaper than what you get buying new.
PM me for more details. _________________

You can't get a metal pad for $70. Well you can, but don't expect it to work for more than 20 minutes. Don't buy from DDR Game, they sell the same kind of pads that you get on eBay, and eBay pads are awful. And for the future, don't buy an Afterburner. It's a little more quality than the eBay pads, thus making it bad. I would reccomend you got a BNS DX Extreme pad, it's a really good foampad and about the best you'll get in that budget. _________________
