|

Has anyone ever bought the sensors off of MyMyBox and used them in thier homemade pad? (Like the DDRhomepad, or RipTide mdoel)
I am very unsatisfied with my homemade pad's sensitivity, and was considering buying a new pad off of MyMyBox, when I discovered the 8pack of sensors for sale. It would be cheaper to just buy some working sensors off of that site and get them to fit into the box i already made, right?
The only problem is...I have no idea how i would even do this . The picture shows some kind of wire coming off...I don't know what I would connect it to. I assume I would need a curcuitboard from a real DDR pad, but then what would that connect to? The picture is to plain, and the product description is useless
So if anyone has ever done this, or has a GOOD idea how it would work, please tell me how. Any help would be nice. |

You might want to try asking Anthony of TGA, I think he'd be your best bet. _________________

I must agree with DancingTofu. Anthony knows a hell load of DDR Mechanics. He is actually building a homemade pad that supposed to be just like arcade. He made a topic about it on Bemanistyle. You can also check out MMB's forums, they know what is going on. _________________

Im actually now ordering the sensors, 16 of them, for two pads. I´ve asked with PM from Anthony of TGA, but no answer, maybe he´s on holiday. We´ll see, I´ll post more when I start working with them. I have a website where I´ll hopefully make a DIY, with the mymybox sensors. I recommend asking in the forums of MMB, you´ll get always replies. Wish me luck.. |

I just hooked mine up to a psx controller 1 as the ground and 1 as the button and it worked fine.... that was a test to see if it worked, I havent wired 2 of the sensors to a button yet but i believe itll work.
A couple of more weekends and i should be done. |
