Sound broken on DanceManiaX

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone here has experience fixing sound issues with bemani games.

I have a Dance ManiaX 2nd Mix Append J, I got the machine in 2004 in pristine condition. The machine is well kept, and I've never had an issue with it. A few months ago, (August) I turned my machine on to play and the sound did not work at all. Everything is properly connected, and I have no idea what is causing the sound to not function correctly at all.

I would like to fix it myself if possible, rather then going through a company or someone where I would have to pay probably more then I should.

Any advice/help/tutorials on fixing sound would be helpful! Thanks

Have you tried hooking up the speakers to an external audio source? I'm pretty sure they're just using standard RCA plugs into the back of the System 573 unit. They might be going through a separate mixer board, but at some point, there should be some regular RCA plugs that you could attach to a Discman or something to test the output and narrow down where the problem is.
