so i just got the "intec arcade style dance platform" yesterday and it's great. the only problem is that it has become very sticky (like the floor at the movies) and ive heard that windex makes your feet not able to slide at all. anyone have any suggestions on what to use to clean it?

Sure, go with Windex. I don't see why that wouldn't work. But if it doesn't, format your C drive.

Get some shoes with less grip.
I use converse Chucks, for a good balance of slip and grip. E13.gif

For that matter, do they come sealed?
Most of the time, if something is well-sealed, it'll be sticky until it absorbs some dust and becomes slightly corroded from oxygen.

Also, it could be shoes, if you wear shoes when you play.
New shoes tend to be really sticky.
I got some new Chucks last christmas, and they stuck to almost anything they touched.
So if you've use shoes, they might need to be broken in a bit.

I tend to wipe my pad off thoroughly whenever it gets dust-prints, oil-spots, or anything of the like, so they stay shiny and clean pretty well.
If you have any handtowels lying around that you wouldn't mind dedicating to your DDR, you might just want to make one or two part of your setup.

At the Arcade my Chucks leave white rubber marks, like if you wear black shoes on a basketball court.

That's weird, mine don't leave any marks.
