Are there any GuitarFreaks here? Anyone besides me is waiting for this game? It looks really promosing and I'm so excited about this release.
I even planed on buying one of those crazy controllers.
Can you please tell me which of them is better?
Guitarfreaks Arcade Style Controller or Guitar Freaks Controller?
Do you play using external controllers? or pad? I would like to expirience this game the fullest

Since they are basically the same as an arcade controller I am assuming that they are fairly similar in functionality, it is an assumption, but I'm sure that they ASC will be very nice
Edit: lol look at play-asia says about it:
description
The official pop'n music Arcade Style controller is suitable for all PS⢠& PS2⢠Guitarfreaks games.

I played with the official GF ASC on location test, and I can say I PREFER it to the actual arcade controller! It really is good! It is just as good, and actually feels nicer than normal. Plus the fact that it is rumoured that Konami will release sticker sets with it so you can customise it, I would recommend it above the normal home controller any day! (Oh, and the home controller is MUCH smaller than the ASC) _________________

Speaking of glamorous sky, it's probably one of my favorite songs. You lucky bastards who have the game should play it. _________________

Please don't say it's another gitado slot or a stupid roulette thing (although I'd much rather have Gitado Slot than Pop 'n 10's).
And I don't see how anything could be worse than pop 'n 10, other than drawn-out ones. _________________

I've heard that Konami will be giving away a free bonus with ASC controller, anyone knows what is it going to be? |

Has anyone hacked the gamesave to disable the Left/Right buttons to use a Guitar Hero controller? I know button gamesave hacking disabled X/O in DDR games. |

No need to hack it, Just remap the buttons. Though it will be a tedious and annoying process of alternating controller ports over and over for song selection and play. But at least you can play Masterpiece Silver on guitar hero controller
Reference in guitar hero buttons:
Green button: R2
Red button: O
Yellow button: Triangle
Raising guitar hero controller: L2
Obviously, picking is up and down
For wailing bonus: u can map it as L2 or if you don't want to do that then map it to left direction.
Props to my friend at school for telling me about it >_> |

Uh, do you mean going into the options menu in DDR and turning "controller" to "off?"
That disables your X/O buttons on your DDR pad. _________________

STOP THE PRESSES! Twinkle Star is on there? That song alone is enough for me to consider buying this game! This woud also be the first time buying a game from the GitaDora series if I did. _________________

Are Konami still making KOC DM controllers? I can't find them anywhere and I want to get one for this. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
