You like it a lot at first, then once you've played/listened to it a lot, its nothing special.

So Im probably going to get sick or era soon.

Anyone else agree?

I think it depends on your taste in music. With Era, for example, if you like Drum'n'Bass (at least, that's how the song is categorized in IIDX), I would think you'd continue to like the song even after the novelty of it wore off. I know I do. However, I have lost interest in songs myself. Most of them are Naoki's songs. By that, I mean the songs he's done under his own name like Brilliant2U, Dynamite Rave, B4U, D2R, 1998, etc. I still like stuff he's done under other aliases, though.

I don't get sick of anything because I like everything.

kind of... i have EX2 and MAX2, and the songs are starting to get boring and repeditive (spelled wrong?) ...but my song choice is very limited, (which will soon change), so i guess if you've been playing for years, you might get sick of all the older songs.

EDIT: ...but the case with me is that i didn't get into DDR until DDREX2 came out, so the old songs are still new for me.(songs like HVAM and R+P)

yes it does.

this is more of a problem with me in ITG than DDR. The songs that i have got worn on are...

DDR

BREAKDOWN(because i whored it)
CANDY<3(because i whored it)
DIVE-both mixes(because i whored it)
True-trance sunrise(because i whored it)
bag(because they whored it)
cartoon heroes(because its steps are annoying)
xepher(already...because they whored it)
butterfly(because EVERYONE whored it)
BOOM BOOM DOLLAR remix(because they whored it)
anything that involves the word "max"(because they whored it)

if you didn't notice, i whore BeForU and riyu kosaka songs like crazy. I absolutely love them. They aren't even good songs, there just incredibly fun songs. Thats why i was so excited when i saw the amount of new riyu kosaka and beforu songs(and the inclusion of ki-se-ki from festival).

They better be on supernova PS2 so i can whore them.

ITG:
anything that doesnt include spacecatz, crispy, or e-rotic because the rest bore me.

I've been playing this game so much that I don't mind anything anymore. I guess this means I'm backwards from everyone else, but I find myself tolerating everything as opposed to getting tired of favorites.

If you told me I would do Mahou no Tobira, WWW.Blondegirl, Waka Laka, and Graduation all in one set 3 years ago, I would have laughed. Nowadays, that is a common set if I'm just goofing off and not caring.

I'm sick of songs like Spin Spin Sugar and Block Rockin' Beats after having listened to the preview music...

Slow rap music doesn't belong in ddr.

Healing Vision, Boom Boom Dollar, Speed Over Beethoven, and Captain Jack never get old.

Spin Spin Sugar's steps are too fun to get old.

I'm the opposite. Some songs I don't like when I first listen to it, but I like it after a while. Maria (I Believe...), Colors, and Frozen Ray (Extreme version for both of those)- I hated them the first time I heard them. Now I'm like "Zomg must listen to!!!"

I have yet to really get tired of any songs... well... maybe I have some, I'm not sure biggrin.gif

If I have to hear La Copa De La Vida one more damn time....

Our DDR machine does nothing but play La Copa De La Vida during the attract mode.
