This pad actually looks alright. I'm guessing it's a cobalt flux style pad, just a little lower quality. And it has lights under the arrows! . What do you think about it?

This looks interesting... too bad it is out of stock, it looks like something that should be/should have been tested to see how it is.

Believe it or not, that thing is actually pretty old. I think it was the first hard pad to come out aside from the DDR ASC. To give you an idea how old it is, originally there were two versions of this pad: a PS1 version and a Dreamcast version. Check out picture of the pad's box on Lik-Sang. There's even a Dreamcast in the background. I can't recall anything anyone said about it when it first came out, but I do know one thing about it. The "panels" are actually cheap plastic buttons mounted on springs, so they sink in a LOT when you step on them.

It's amazing how companies will put anything up for sale regardless of how aware they are of how much it sucks. Just look at the Ignition 3, and the Rave Discman, and anything made by Mad Catz.

*reads the only review*

"A few bad things though, when I tried to disassemble it I realised it was actually very flimsy, it has broken and cracked underneath during 9-10 step songs, but it still works. 4 stars because of this, also because the buttons in the center are useless after they have been pressed in once they wont come back out!!"

CF Style FTW.

If you Google for DDR Arcade machines, theres a Lik Sang page for them that got taken down. Lik Sang just keeps up years-old product pages.

Oh mein gott, the infamous "hard plastic pad". I think that might just be the worst pad design ever. >_< Would you believe that when that pad first came out, stores were trying to push it as an improvement over the pad Marquistadorous posted? I do believe I recall hearing reports of that pad (the one with circular buttons) simply breaking into 2 pieces.
<sarcasm>A DDR pad with one-piece construction using flimsy plastic as the body, great idea there guys.</sarcasm>
