You started playing light...

You started playing Standard...

You started playing Heavy...

You passed your first 10(and which one was it)...

You get your first AA

you got your first heavy AA

For me I started light right away, beginner was just to easy, then about two or three months later I started playing a few standard songs. Then about 2 or 3 more months I passed holic for my first time, then butterfly, lets groove etc.(this all started febuary) and I just recently passed Sakura on Heavy. I only have AA'd Lets groove light during a freestyle and Witch Doctor standard messing around.

I am just interested how quickly other people started getting good at the game, see if I am coming along at a good pace, or if I should have already passed PSMO

yeah right like that'll happen anytime soon

Playing light: First time, started on konamix. I vividly remember whoring Higher on basic.
Playing standard: A month, maybe.
Playing Heavy: Five months.
Passed first 10: Maybe a year or so, I stopped playing for a while.
First AA: I think about a week into it or so.
First Heavy AAA: Sync on heavy. What a day, what a day..

Light: Right away
Standard: 6-8 days
Heavy: Less than a month
First 10: MAX300, 2 days ago, got a C, and I was playing for 2 months and a few days.

I guess when you played keyboard/controller for a year and a half then played 2-4 hours a day on pad, I got good quickly. ^.^

Light: First time playing (although I failed and fiddled around on beginner, then went back and played the same song on light and passed).

Standard: Two months (Controller) Three months (Pad).

Heavy: Three or four months (Controller), half a year (Pad).

First 10: About a month after I got DDRMAX [idk when that was (Controller)],
year and a half (Pad).

Heavy: i played my first heavy song (Ballad for you) in about 2 months, but i wasn't really Playing heavy until about 5 months.

passed 1st 10: recently actually, it was 8 months, and it was Bag x3. i have yet to pass a "real" 10. (although i'm close with 300)

Playing on Light: First one was on 5th mix. Six years ago, played Butterfly and A'd it. Been playing on light for year after that.

Playing Standard: One year later. Went up to that level

Playing Heavy: Again, one year later.

Passed my first 10: A year ago, Playing on ITG2. Beated Rome0 and Juli8 on Expert 10.

My first AA: Sadly, it was on DDR Extreme: Fantasy (Melissa). On Standard, in fact.

First 10-foot A: Max 300, 3 months.
First 10-foot AA (not counting Sakura): Max 300, 7 months.
First 9-foot AAA: Irresistiblement on Extreme 2, 8 months.
First 10-foot AAA: Sakura on Extreme 2, 14 months.

It took me forever to progress and go anywhere with DDR.

Beginner- at least played this for a week (im not even kidding)
Light- Maybe a Month (played a couple easy things on Standard aswell)
Standard- 2+ months (this was the most fun period I had in my DDR days)
Heavy- 3-4 months I finnaly made it to heavy.

First 10- Sakura/Bag with a terrible grade im sure (I still suck at Sakura I get more NC's than like Max 300) dumb slowdown always gets me..

First AA- probably Kick the Can Light or Standard on Extreme US

First Heavy AA- Probably Kick the Can on Extreme US

There was a bit more time in between those dates because the crappy US Extreme Arcade machine we had decided to have a meltdown and luckily for us got replaced by Extreme Jp.

It also probably would have helped me progress a bit faster if I used speed mods like I do nowadays as I went from DDR 10's to my first ITG 12 in about a week.

It only took a few days to get to Standard, maybe a week

and then a month later I was on Heavy.

I don't remember when I passed my first 10, but it was Sakura. >_< I hate that chart.

First AA... uh... 1998 Standard, I think?

And then first Heavy AA was Quickening. It was also my first Heavy AAA
