Around 60. It's fine for me. I don't need it near 400...

~60 your monitor's refresh rate. Vsync is locking it to reduce tearing. 400 is useless anyway in something like stepmania. 60 is fine.

60 is what mine is locked at too.

Around the 225-250 range, but if I try and record videos (any on-screen gamecam), it goes to a pathetic 10-11 FPS.

60. I uesd to get 85, and with much higher graphics settings, but my damn graphics card broke and now I have to use my on board graphics, which suck. I've never gone very long with vsync off. It does give you a higher frame rate, but it constantly changes, causing it to look choppier then it would with vsync on.

60. Except when I start up StepMania, it takes like 10 seconds to get a steady framerate. Using HyperCam its like 20 FPS.

I would think that tearing at that BPM would be worse. I generally play at 550-650, but I guess Ill do 700-800 mini and test with and without vsync to see.
