What would I need to connect my laptop to my TV so I could see stepmania on it?

Open your manual and tell us what kind of video output(s) your laptop has. We can go from there.

I use an S-Video cable and most newer computers have the place to plug it in. Check to see if you have that on your laptop then check your TV. If your TV one then you just need to buy and S-Video cable. If it doesn't on your TV buy an S-Video cable that has the three colors (yellow, white, red) and plug just the yellow one in your TV. To get sound into your TV or another sound system buy a cord with a headphone jack at one end and the white and red plugs at the other. Just plug the headphone jack in your laptop and the red and white plugs in your TV. VOILA!!!!!! You have stepmania on your television! E7.gif

If your laptop has VGA out, for $5.49, this might be worth a shot.

So you plug the VGA end into the comp, then plug the your S-Video cable into the S-Video end of the VGA cable, right?

Laptop to TV, right?

VGA into your laptop's VGA out.

S-Video into your television.
